Pylon Birds is an award-winning piece depicting a meeting of structure and flight. Power lines become perches, and the sky fills with movement. Carved by hand, the cardboard plate is sealed with polyurethane and printed intaglio, with layered Kozo paper applied through chine collé to add depth and subtle texture.
Each print is hand-pulled and part of a limited edition of 30. Due to the nature of the process, slight variations make each piece unique.
Pylon Bird won The Prints and the Pulper Award at the 2025 Mansfield May Show.
