Skybound Over Steel captures the quiet resilience of nature against an urban backdrop. Created from a recycled COVID-19 rapid Antigen Test box, this collagraph print reflects on the tension and harmony between industrial structures and the birds that navigate them. Carved by hand, the cardboard plate is sealed with polyurethane and printed intaglio, with layered Kozo paper applied through chine collé to add depth and subtle texture.
Each print is hand-pulled and part of a limited edition of 25. Due to the nature of the process, slight variations make each piece unique.
